Sudhir Gopi Holdings Dubai Politics ( Top Breaking News Indian-origin beauty pageant contestants ‘too beautiful’ for Kiwi judges to judge!)

Melbourne, May 20 (ANI): A Fiji-born teenager in New Zealand has sought compensation and an apology from the organisers of a beauty pageant, after they declared her the winner but later informed her that she was mistaken for “another Indian girl”.
Synthia Nath, 19, was told two days after winning the top prize at the Miss Globe New Zealand beauty pageant that they had confused her with “another Indian girl”, Loriza Latif, News.com.au reported.
Nath was told that she could still compete at next month’s Miss Globe International competition in Turkey, a trip which was supposed to have been part of her prize, but she would have to finance the 3000 dollars herself.
When she told them that she did not have the money, an organiser said there had been a mistake in announcing the winner, and it was an “honest mistake” on their part as the other girl looked just like her.
Nath is now seeking reimbursement for the entry fee and 420 dollars for 10 tickets she sold, which was a condition of entry. (ANI)
